Treatment of H. pylori that did not kill the first time does not require an interval and can be performed directly under the guidance of a physician for a second time, and if the second time still does not kill, a third treatment interval of more than 3 months is recommended. The current treatment for H. pylori is usually a radical regimen of choice as long as there is no clear clinical contraindication for the patient. A quadruple regimen, i.e., 1 PPI, 2 antibiotics and 1 bismuth agent, is currently advocated. Patients can choose sensitive drugs under the guidance of their physicians and be treated aggressively for 2 weeks, and after cessation of treatment, the C13 breath test can be repeated after 4 weeks to clarify the presence or absence of eradication. In addition, since H. pylori can be transmitted through the digestive tract, it is recommended to have a meal sharing diet and good dining habits. During the treatment period, no alcohol should be consumed for 1 week before and after, and patients are advised to maintain a light diet with less oily, spicy and stimulating foods and more vegetables and fruits.
