Can kidney failure be cured in its early stages?

Renal failure is categorized into acute renal failure and chronic renal failure, etc. Some patients with early acute renal failure may be cured; early chronic renal failure generally cannot be cured.
1. Acute renal failure: it is divided into pre-renal, renal and post-renal. Pre-renal, such as insufficient effective circulating blood volume, may be cured after rehydration treatment; post-renal, such as urinary stones, may be cured after lithotripsy treatment.
2. Chronic renal failure: common causes include diabetic nephropathy, chronic glomerulonephritis, hypertensive renal arteriolar sclerosis, tubulointerstitial disease, polycystic kidney disease and so on. Chronic renal failure treatment is mainly aimed at slowing down the progress of renal function and preventing the deterioration of renal function, which is difficult to be cured.
Patients with renal failure should go to the hospital in time and be treated under the guidance of professional physicians.
