The onset of action of Lidocaine Hydrochloride Injection is usually about 5 to 15 minutes. Lidocaine Hydrochloride Injection belongs to the class of local anesthesia and anti-arrhythmic drugs. This product has a rapid onset of action, strong diffusion force, anesthesia intensity, injection is generally about 5 to 15 minutes after the onset of action. It takes about 2 hours for the drug to be eliminated from the local area, and the addition of epinephrine can prolong its action time. Lidocaine hydrochloride injection is used for surface anesthesia, infiltration anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, but also can be used for (after acute myocardial infarction) ventricular tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions, (cardiac surgery, etc.) ventricular arrhythmia, digitalis poisoning. Adverse effects of this product can be seen drowsiness, muscle tremor, sensory abnormalities, convulsive coma, respiratory depression and so on. The drug is contraindicated in hypersensitivity to local anesthetics, acute cardiogenic ischemic syndrome, pre-excitation syndrome, severe heart block.
