What should I do if I have a slit behind my ear?

A crack behind the ear may be a manifestation of eczema of the outer ear. Such a patient may have been exposed to some food or some chemical substances, resulting in eczema-like manifestations in the local part of the ear, repeatedly having eczema, resulting in the cracking of the local skin. For this condition, first, it is recommended that patients avoid foods that are prone to irritating allergies, such as eating less seafood; using less shampoo with irritating odors when washing hair, and less contact with chemicals and cosmetics; wearing headphones and hearing aids with less contact with plastic items; reducing inhalation of pollen and animal fur; and eating less seafood and drinking less milk. Clinical treatment can be done by applying topical anti-eczema solutions and ointments. If the symptoms are heavy, you can also take oral antihistamines for symptomatic treatment. Cracking behind the ear does not exclude other diseases, such as local inflammatory infection of the auricle, which is also possible.
