What is the fever after diarrhea?

Fever after diarrhea is associated with gastrointestinal type of cold, acute gastroenteritis, and accumulation of food. Gastrointestinal type of cold is a special type of cold disease caused by coxsackie virus infection, which invades the intestinal system of the patient and therefore causes diarrhea symptoms. Many people will have a compromised immune system during the illness, and in addition to symptoms such as coughing and weakness of the limbs, some people will also have symptoms of body fever. The illness of acute gastroenteritis is directly related to the inflammation of the intestinal mucosa. Inflammation can cause stimulation of the smooth muscle of the intestine, resulting in hyper-peristalsis and diarrhea. After the aggravation of acute gastroenteritis, the body’s immune response is triggered, especially when dehydration occurs, and many people develop fever. In infants and young children, food accumulation is more likely to occur because the food in the stomach has decayed, causing irritation to the intestinal wall and resulting in diarrhea. When food rots in the stomach, it generates heat and is accompanied by fever.
