What are the symptoms of streptococcal infection

Streptococcal infection is mainly manifested as systemic symptoms, local skin symptoms, accompanying symptoms and so on.
1. Systemic symptoms: 2~4 days after streptococcal infection, there may be sudden sore throat, which is aggravated by swallowing, and submandibular lymph node enlargement, and at the same time, there may be systemic manifestations such as fatigue, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, headache and fever.
2. Local skin symptoms: if it leads to scarlet fever, there are not only symptoms of acute tonsillitis, but also widely distributed dense and uniform punctate scarlet fever rash, which can be seen as a large chaff-like peeling when the skin creeps away.
Group A streptococcal infection caused by salpingitis, the patient may appear facial and limb redness and swelling, especially the nose, lips and other places appear light red or dark red swelling, the affected skin may appear peeling and flaking. If it leads to streptococcal pyoderma or cellulitis, it can also appear corresponding skin manifestations.
3. Accompanying symptoms: some patients may have transient mild to moderate hypertension and edema, such as acute left heart failure, dyspnea, forced position, coughing pink foamy sputum and other manifestations. If it leads to necrotizing fasciitis, in addition to the manifestation of subcutaneous tissue necrosis, it is also accompanied by weakness, confusion, and even coma.
