Sanyinjiao is an acupoint on the foot-taiyin spleen meridian, which is effective in clearing the blood channels, activating the meridians, dredging the lower Jiao, facilitating dampness and heat, regulating the water channels, strengthening the spleen and stomach, and can treat abdominal pain, bowel sounds, abdominal distension, irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or spotting of menstruation), infertility, and obstructed labor.
San Yin Jiao can treat a variety of gynecological disorders such as irregular menstruation, stagnant labor, yin ting (a woman’s uterus prolapsing or even prolapsing out of the vaginal opening) as well as infertility. The San Yin Jiao is also the confluence of the three Yin meridians of the foot, which is very important for regulating the Yin qi of the whole body.
Sanyinjiao is also useful in treating night sweats (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, which stops after waking up), hot flashes (a burst of heat), and heartburn (heat in the palms of the hands and the hearts of the feet, and self-consciousness of heat in the heart and chest) and other symptoms of yin deficiency in women.
If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner. Acupuncture of the Sanyinjiao needs to be performed under the guidance of a professional physician, do not operate on your own.
