Headache and eye distension and pain may belong to the category of “headache” in Chinese medicine, which is mostly seen in wind-heat syndrome of headache or liver-yang upper disturbing syndrome.

Wind-heat syndrome: the onset of the disease is rapid, the headache is distended, and when it is severe, it is like cracking, and fever, thirst, red face and eyes, yellow urine and constipation can be seen. The treatment is to remove wind and clear away heat, and Chinese medicines such as Rhizoma Ligustica Gypsum Soup can be used.
2. Liver-Yang upward disturbance syndrome: Head distension, pain and dizziness, accompanied by heartburn, dryness and bitterness in the mouth, or pain in the ribs and wounds.
