2.Pathological factors
(1) Increase in liver volume: the increase in the volume of the patient’s liver pulls on the hepatic peritoneum, which will cause pain in the liver area. With the increasing volume of cirrhosis, the pain symptoms will intensify. Most of them are mainly hidden pain, which can be observed, and the aggravation of pain needs to pay attention to the complication of liver abscess and liver cancer, and the treatment of primary disease is the main concern.
(2) Hepatocellular carcinoma: If cirrhosis patients have liver symptoms for no reason, it is possible that the condition has deteriorated, and if cirrhosis develops into hepatocellular carcinoma, pain symptoms will also appear. You can use dulcolax, tramadol, morphine, etc. for pain relief, which can be used to treat moderate to severe pain, and mainly act on the specific receptors related to pain in the central nervous system, so as to relieve the symptoms of cirrhosis pain.
