Early mild supraspinous ligamentitis is likely to heal on its own, but for later severe supraspinous ligamentitis it is usually difficult to heal on its own, and requires medication and other treatments to relieve the symptoms.
Mild supraspinous ligamentitis can recover with the dissipation of inflammation because of the mild inflammatory reaction and the small impact on the supraspinous ligament, which has not caused pathological changes. Severe supraspinous ligamentitis, on the other hand, is difficult to dissipate on its own due to the persistence and irritation of the inflammatory response and usually requires medication.
For long-term poor posture and sports injuries caused by the supraspinous ligament inflammation, injury causative factors persist, the need for drug treatment to relieve symptoms, commonly used drugs for non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as oral class: indomethacin, celecoxib, lorsoprofen sodium, in addition to topical medications such as piroxicam patch, flurbiprofen babu paste, and so on.
All of the above drugs need to be used under the guidance of a doctor, some of the supraspinous ligament inflammation symptoms are significant, but also need to be closed injection treatment, and with ultrashort wave treatment.
