The spread of uterine cancer does not necessarily lead to death, and active treatment can still prolong the survival period.
Lymph node and distal organ metastasis often occurs in the middle and late stages of uterine cancer, which is no longer suitable for surgery and is often treated with chemotherapy, targeted drugs and immunotherapy. If uterine cancer only spreads to the surrounding lymphatic tissues, some patients can be clinically cured by timely radiotherapy or surgical resection, and can survive for several years or even decades.
If multi-organ and extensive metastasis have occurred, it is relatively more difficult to achieve cure and only comprehensive conservative treatment can be adopted, but the survival time can still be prolonged to a certain extent.
Therefore, it is recommended that patients should maintain a good attitude and actively cooperate with doctors in order to obtain more survival time.
