What’s wrong with light red leucorrhea?

Having light red leukorrhea indicates that there is blood inside the leukorrhea. This bloody leukorrhea needs to be taken seriously and usually represents gynecological disorders, the more common ones are cervical erosion, cervical polyps, acute inflammation of the cervix and vaginitis, which can cause leukorrhea with blood. There are also pelvic inflammatory diseases, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, etc., which can also lead to disruption of hormone levels in the body, thus causing abnormal vaginal bleeding. If light red leucorrhea occurs after sex, consider contact bleeding, but also rule out malignant lesions of the cervix and require cervical screening for cancer prevention. Of course there are a few cases of light red leukorrhea that are normal, for example, leukorrhea with blood during ovulation is a normal sign. There are also a few patients with IUDs who have a little light red leucorrhea before their period, so they need to be judged based on a combination of circumstances.
