How to Rehabilitate Patellofemoral Inflammation

Common rehabilitation training for patellofemoral osteitis includes joint mobility training, muscle strength training, balance training and so on. Different training methods are adopted according to the recovery of patients.
1. Early rehabilitation: loosen the soft tissues around the pain point, pull the tense muscles, enhance the muscle strength of the medial head of quadriceps, and improve the balance ability of the lower limb in the static stable state; before the training, the athlete will be given the soft tissue loosening technique to loosen the soft tissues around the pain point such as the supportive band, and the knee joint will be flexed and extended by pressing on the pain point.
2. Medium-term rehabilitation: further improve the muscle strength of quadriceps, enhance the strength of hamstrings and gluteus maximus, improve the core strength, and improve the balance ability of the lower limb in a stable state. Leather band lunge squat; hanging single leg lunge squat; lateral abduction; supine hip jerk.
3. Terminal rehabilitation: improve the balance ability of lower limb under static instability, consolidate and improve the strength of lower limb. Assisted single-leg squatting; lunge stability exercises; balance pad single-leg standing with eyes closed.
Patients with patellofemoral inflammation are recommended to undergo rehabilitation under the guidance of doctors and therapists to avoid secondary injury.
