What’s going on with the eye pain and headache?

Eye pain with headache can be seen in two diseases: the first one is glaucoma, which is the most common cause of the disease and is due to a pathological increase in intraocular pressure, resulting in a series of symptoms, including eye distention, nasal root soreness, severe vision loss, and accompanied by ipsilateral dizziness, headache, and occasionally nausea and vomiting. In this case, it is recommended that early detection and early treatment should be carried out, and a detailed examination should be conducted at the hospital, including intraocular pressure examination and fundus examination, and after diagnosis, symptomatic treatment should be given to lower the intraocular pressure to avoid damage to the optic nerve caused by high intraocular pressure. The second type is the transient IOP elevation caused by eye fatigue, this symptom is reversible, and the symptoms are relatively mild, due to unreasonable eye habits, and can gradually improve after rest.
