Abnormal leukorrhea at the beginning of pregnancy is mainly considered in two cases. First, physiologic increase in leukorrhea. Due to the increased level of estrogen and progesterone after pregnancy, the patient’s entire pelvis is congested, which will lead to vigorous secretion of the patient’s reproductive glands, so the patient’s leukorrhea will increase physiologically. This physiological increase in leukorrhea is limited to an increase in the amount of leukorrhea, and the color and smell of the leukorrhea are normal. There is no need for special treatment because the patient does not have any discomfort and it will not affect the patient in any way. Second, consider the abnormal leukorrhea caused by gynecological inflammatory diseases. The abnormal leukorrhea caused by this condition not only has an increase in the amount of leukorrhea, leukorrhea will also have a fishy smell, yellowish-green, and the patient may also have vulvar itching or localized redness and swelling. In this case, it is necessary to do gynecological internal examination, and at the same time, take the leukorrhea to do laboratory tests to determine the type of inflammation, and symptomatic treatment.
