Can yucca be combined with astragalus

Yucca and Astragalus can be used together when there are indications. The combination of yuzhu and astragalus has the effect of nourishing yin and moistening dryness, generating fluid and nourishing blood, and tonifying qi and elevating yang.
1. Yucca is a yin tonic, is the dried rhizome of Yucca, lily family, taste sweet, sex slightly cold. It has the effects of nourishing yin, moisturizing dryness, generating fluids and quenching thirst, and is used in conditions such as deficiency of lung yin, dry-heat cough, deficiency of stomach yin (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach), internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by symptoms such as excessive eating, drinking and urinating), and dry throat and thirst.
2. Astragalus is a qi tonic, the dried root of Astragalus membranaceus or Astragalus membranaceus, family leguminosae, with a sweet flavor and slightly warm nature. It is sweet in taste and slightly warm in nature. It has the effects of benefiting the guards and consolidating the surface, generating fluid and nourishing the blood, tonifying qi and elevating the yang, and promoting paralysis (making the paralyzed meridians and veins open up).
This drug is used for lung and spleen qi deficiency, coughing and shortness of breath, qi deficiency and fatigue, loose food (thin and unformed feces), sweating due to deficiency of the epidermis (due to weakness of the epidermis and frequent and natural sweating), qi deficiency and edema, hemiplegia (inability to move one side of the limbs at will) and other disorders.
There is no clear contraindication to pairing Yuzu with Astragalus, so it can be used in combination if there are any of the above mentioned discomforts.
