Symptoms of heavy dampness include weight loss, back pain, joint and muscle pain, and loose stools (thin, unformed feces).
Heavy dampness includes external dampness and internal dampness obstruction in the stomach and intestines. For external dampness, it is common to see soreness in the waist, drowsiness in the limbs, pain in the joints and muscles, and pain that does not move; for internal dampness obstruction in the stomach and intestines, it is common to see poor appetite, tightness and discomfort in the chest, unfavorable urination (unruly urine), and loose stools.
Dampness combined with cold can cause symptoms such as coldness, abdominal distension, diarrhea or swelling. When Dampness is combined with Heat, symptoms such as epigastric (stomach and abdomen) congestion, lack of appetite, nausea and vomiting, bitter and sticky taste in the mouth, heaviness and drowsiness in the body, yellowish and bright color in the face and eyes, loose stools, and short and yellowish urine may occur.
If you have any of the above symptoms, it is recommended that you seek medical treatment promptly.
