Bandage dressing sequence principle

The order of bandage dressing is from top to bottom, from left to right, from distal to proximal principle. When bandage wrapping, first let the patient take a sitting or lying position, hold the affected limb, and carefully check the wrapping site. The bandage starts with a circular bandage for 2 weeks, and the beginning of the bandage is fixed. For the finger and toe end of the bandage as much as possible exposed, so as to observe the end circulation. For every 1 week of bandage, 1/3~1/2 of the previous 1 week must be pressed, and the force should be even and loose, so that the bandage spreads flat and evenly. The reflexed part must not be pressed on the wound and bone protrusion. The bandage is then circulated for 2 weeks at the end of the dressing to facilitate tape fixation or tear the bandage for knotting, or a safety pin can be used to fix it. The knot should be tied on the outside of the limb, not on the wound or bony prominence.
