Physiological factors: consider the child’s preference for spicy and fried foods, long-term or excessive intake of pharyngeal irritation triggered by dry heaving. 2. Pathologic factors: (1) Common digestive system diseases, such as chronic gastritis, gastrointestinal dysfunction, etc., can lead to epigastric discomfort, nausea, dry heaving. (2) chronic pharyngolaryngitis, children are often aware of the dryness and pain in the throat, the back wall of the pharynx is often stimulated by sticky secretions; self-consciousness of a foreign body stuck in the throat, often appearing to clear the throat, can be irritating coughing or dry vomiting. It is difficult to diagnose by this symptom alone. There are more reasons for the child’s dry heaving, and other factors cannot be ruled out.
