The dosage of Cefaclor Dry Suspension for children needs to be determined by the type of illness the child is suffering from as well as the severity of the illness, with most of the dosage of the medication being determined by weight.
1. Cefaclor Dry Suspension is currently available in 0.125 grams per sachet, and children should try to limit their daily dosage to 20 milligrams (mg) per kilogram (kg) and take the medication every 8 hours.
2. If the child has severe bronchitis or pneumonia, the daily dose can also be kept unchanged.
3. In the case of more severe otitis media or less sensitive bacterial infections, the dose may be increased to 40 mg per kg, with a maximum daily dose of no more than 1 gram.
It should also be noted that children who are allergic to Cefaclor are not recommended to use it, because hives may occur after use, or diarrhea, vomiting and other adverse reactions, it must be used under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used on their own.
