How often to clean up nasal stool depends on the amount of nasal stool and whether the patient has rhinitis and other related diseases. If the patient does not have rhinitis and the amount of nasal stool is not much, it can be cleaned up once in 2-3 or 7 days. If there is no obvious nasal disinflation and no obvious nasal stool, there is no need to deal with it because under normal circumstances the nasal stool can evaporate on its own and the nasal cavity has substances such as lysozyme that can discharge the nasal secretion and will not cause the patient to feel nasal congestion and nasal blockage, so there is no need to deal with it intentionally. Patients suffering from acute rhinitis, sinusitis and other related diseases resulting in particularly large nasal secretions, which tend to block the nasal cavity, may need to be cleared 2-3 times a day or several times a day depending on their condition. Some patients have particularly poor nasal mucosal function after septum and sinusitis surgery, and may need to be cleared by a doctor with an aspirator every 1-3 days in the hospital for nasal discharge, otherwise nasal blockage can easily induce recurrent sinusitis.
