Lung The ligament point is located on the medial side of the wrist (under the side of the thumb), where the pulse beat can be felt. Or at the radial edge of the forearm, above the radial styloid process, 1.5 inches above the transverse wrist stripe, when the brachioradialis muscle is between the tendons of the brachioradialis and the thumb longus adductor. The large intestine is located at the flexed elbow, on the radial side of the back of the forearm, on the line between the Yang acupuncture point and the Quchi point, 3 inches above the transverse wrist stripe. Stomach The Fenglong point is located on the anterolateral side of the lower leg, 8 inches above the tip of the outer ankle, just outside of the Zhaokou point, two fingers from the front edge of the tibia (middle finger). Spleen The Gongsun point is located on the medial edge of the foot, just below the base of the first metatarsal. Heart The Tongli point is located on the palmar side of the forearm, at the radial border of the ulnar carpal flexor tendon, 1 inch above the transverse wrist stripe. Small Intestine The Zhizheng point is located on the back of the forearm on the ulnar side, when the Yang acupuncture point is in line with the Xiaohai point, 5 inches above the transverse wrist stripe. Bladder The Feiyang point is located on the back of the lower leg, behind the outer ankle, seven inches above the Kunlun point and one inch below the Chengshan point. Kidney The Dazhong point is located on the medial side of the body, below the inner ankle, when the Achilles tendon is attached to the medial anterior depression. Pericardium The Neiguan point is located on the palmar side of the forearm, on the line between Quze and Daling, 2 inches above the transverse wrist line, between the long palmar tendon and the radial wrist flexor tendon (or from the center of the transverse wrist crease near the wrist, about three fingers wide upward). Sanjiao The Waiguan point is located on the dorsal side of the forearm, when the line between Yangchi and the tip of the elbow, 2 inches above the transverse wrist stripe, between the ulna and the radius (three fingers wide upward from the transverse wrinkle of the neck of the hand, opposite the frontal Neiguan). Gall Bladder The Guangming point is located on the lateral side of the calf, 5 inches above the tip of the outer ankle, at the anterior edge of the fibula. Liver The Ligou point is located on the medial side of the calf of the body, when the tip of the inner ankle is 5 inches above the tip of the foot and the center of the medial tibial side. Ren Chakra The Hatsuo point is located directly below the heart fossa, slightly below the lowest rib (the Hatsuo point is located on the upper abdomen, on the anterior midline, 1 inch below the thoracic junction of the sword). Governor’s Vessel The Changqiang point is located under the end of the tailbone of the body, at the midpoint of the line connecting the end of the tailbone to the anus. Spleen DaLuo The DaBao point is located on the lateral thorax, on the mid-axillary line, when the 6th rib gap is reached. Brief method of acupuncture: lie on your side and raise your arm, and take the point 6 inches below the axilla, on the mid-axillary line, at the 6th rib gap.
