Facial pimples are clinically known as acne and can be treated with medications such as fusidic acid cream, retinoic acid cream, and adapalene gel under doctor’s supervision.
1. Fusidic acid cream: It is used for the treatment of infectious diseases such as impetigo, boils, carbuncles, onychomycosis, traumatic infections, bearded sores, sweating inflammation, redness, folliculitis, and common acne. Adverse reactions such as itching, rash and pain at the site of application may occur. Allergic to the ingredients of the drug is prohibited, and pregnant women should be cautious of using it.
2. Retinoic acid cream: used for acne vulgaris and keratosis pilaris. Adverse reactions such as erythema, swelling and flaking may occur at the site after use. Pregnant women, acute, subacute dermatitis, eczema skin disease patients are prohibited.
3. Adapalene Gel: Used for the skin treatment of acne vulgaris, papules and pustules. Acne on the face, chest and back. Adverse reactions such as skin dryness, burning sensation and erythema can occur after the use of the drug. It is contraindicated in persons who are allergic to the components of the drug, and in persons who are allergic to vitamin A derivatives.
