One of the causes of lower limb ischemia that cannot be ignored

N artery entrapment syndrome (PAES) is a group of lower extremity ischemic symptoms caused by compression of the N artery due to congenital abnormalities in the position of the N artery and its surrounding muscles or tendons or fibrous tissue bundles. Although it is rare clinically, it should not be ignored in the differential diagnosis of lower limb ischemia in adolescents, especially in male adolescents. This paper summarizes the key points of diagnosis and treatment of N artery entrapment syndrome in order to improve the understanding of this syndrome and avoid delay in diagnosis and treatment.
