Do you have to be hospitalized to remove a T-tube after three months?

T-tube removal three months after the operation is based on the condition to decide whether to be hospitalized or not, if the patient has no abnormal test results, it can be removed in the outpatient clinic, if abnormalities are found, hospitalization is required.
Before removing the T-tube, patients need to undergo routine T-tube imaging to confirm whether there are residual stones, blockage of the lower end of the bile duct, and spillage of contrast medium. If none of these conditions exist, T-tube removal can be performed directly on an outpatient basis.
If the results of the imaging test show that there are stones, narrowing of the lower end of the bile duct, or spillage of contrast medium, the patient needs to be hospitalized in time, and appropriate treatment will be taken according to the different situations.
After T-tube removal, if the patient has fever, abdominal pain and other symptoms, it is recommended to consult a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
