What are the categories of colds

Colds are categorized into common colds and influenza.
1. Common cold: a respiratory disease caused by a variety of viruses, the onset of the initial dryness of the throat, itchy, foreign body sensation, about 48 hours after the sore throat, nasal congestion and runny nose, headache, loss of appetite and other symptoms.
2. Influenza: caused by influenza virus, with rapid onset, manifested by high fever, chills, headache, muscle aches and pains. There may be complications for people with underlying diseases or poor immunity, so you should get vaccinated against influenza when it is prevalent.
Antibiotics are not needed for the common cold, and you need to rest and drink plenty of fluids. If there is a cough, phlegm, runny nose, etc., medication should be given according to the different symptoms to alleviate the discomfort.
