It may take about one year for gastric cancer to develop from early stage to middle stage. Early stage of gastric cancer usually has a small lump and usually may not have any symptoms, until the disease gradually progresses, the lump gradually increases and there may be lymph node metastasis around the lump, then it develops to middle stage. In the middle stage of stomach cancer, patients may have abdominal pain or distension, vague pain, or even indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and if the surface of stomach cancer has broken and bleeding, patients may have black stool. Of course, patients with early gastric cancer may also have symptoms of upper abdominal discomfort, so if patients have upper abdominal discomfort, it is recommended that they need to undergo gastroscopy. If early gastric cancer can be detected, clearly diagnosed by pathology and treated with standardized surgery, the 5-year survival rate is very high.
