Warts present as single or multiple warts of varying size on the genital surface, with a papillary or lace-like surface, with a tip or a wide base. For those who have a wide base, it is not easy or impossible to pick them off, while for smaller warts, especially those with a tip, it is easy to pick them off. However, it is not advisable to pick off the warts by hand as there is a risk of bleeding and infection.
