Can children take morphine?

Domperidone refers to domperidone tablets. Children can take Domperidone and there is a special Domperidone suspension for children.
Domperidone is mainly indicated for disorders related to indigestion, bloating, belching, nausea, vomiting and abdominal distension. It is primarily a gastric stimulant.
Suggested dosage of Domperidone Suspension for children: 3~4mL at a time is recommended for 1~3 years old, 5~6mL at a time is recommended for 4~6 years old, 7~8mL at a time is recommended for 7~9 years old, and 9~10mL at a time is recommended for 10~12 years old, to be taken by mouth three times a day, each time 15~30 minutes before meals.
Individual children taking Domperidone may experience adverse reactions such as dry mouth, headache, insomnia, nervousness, dizziness, drowsiness, lethargy, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, burning sensation in the abdomen, rash, and itching.
Therefore, for children, it is important to visit a regular medical facility and take the medication according to the doctor’s instructions before taking the medication.
