Which is more accurate, tracheoscopy or CT

Tracheoscopy and computed tomography (CT) are not more accurate, and you need to choose the one that suits your needs based on your specific situation under the advice of your doctor. Tracheoscopy is commonly used to examine the cause of cough, hoarseness, and blood in sputum of uncertain origin, and to clarify the nature of lung masses through microscopic biopsy. However, bronchoscopy has certain limitations, and it is difficult to observe peripheral lung lesions or lesions outside the tracheal lumen. CT is commonly used in the clinic to check for space-occupying lesions in the lungs, narrowing or obstruction of the bronchial tubes, inflammatory diseases of the lungs, pleural diseases, etc. However, it cannot give an accurate diagnosis, and pathologic examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Therefore, there is no saying which test is more accurate, and it should be performed under the guidance of a doctor according to one’s own condition.
