Why Bleeding After Laparoscopy

Bleeding after laparoscopic surgery, the common causes are mainly the following: First, the surgical wound hemostasis is not complete, the operation did not use electric hook, ultrasonic knife or bipolar electrocoagulation on the bleeding blood vessels to stop bleeding completely, resulting in the continuous bleeding of blood vessels that are still accompanied by the trauma after the operation, which is the most common cause of bleeding after laparoscopic surgery. Second, the ligation of bleeding vessels during surgery is not secure, the local silk threads fall off after surgery, and the larger blood vessels can issue blood again. It is recommended to use double ligation for the larger blood vessels during surgery, which can effectively avoid postoperative bleeding. Third, subcutaneous bleeding after laparoscopy is mostly due to the fact that when suturing the incision, the local small arteries and small veins are not found or do not attract enough attention, which results in the occurrence of postoperative local hematoma or blood seepage from the incision.
