Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride Eye Drops can be used to treat ocular inflammation caused by bacterial conjunctivitis, bacterial keratitis, and other pathogenic bacterial infections. Moxifloxacin hydrochloride belongs to the quinolone class of drugs, is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial drug, sensitive to Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and Chlamydia trachomatis and other pathogens, and has a good antimicrobial effect on the majority of bacterial infections caused by conjunctivitis. It should be used only as topical eye drops, not for subconjunctival injection or direct injection into the anterior chamber of the eye. Discontinue use immediately if symptoms of allergic reactions such as cardiovascular collapse, loss of consciousness, angioedema (including laryngeal, pharyngeal, or facial edema), airway obstruction, dyspnea, urticaria, and pruritus occur with first use. Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin, other quinolones, or any of the ingredients in this medication.
