Common causes of palm pressure pain include trauma, localized hyperplasia, tendon sheath cysts, carpal tunnel syndrome and so on. 1. Trauma: the palm of the hand or by external force blow and other factors, resulting in the palm of the internal soft tissue damage, can lead to palm pressure pain, accompanied by swelling phenomenon. 2. Localized hyperplasia: The calcium salt deposits formed in the palm area after long time over exertion lead to localized hyperplasia, when pressed in the palm area, the bony hyperplasia area and other surrounding normal tissue structures produce extrusion force, thus resulting in painful symptoms. 3. Tendon sheath cysts: they are cystic swellings in the tendon sheaths of the joints due to long-term incorrect posture of the wrist, which causes damage to the synovial cavity of the hand joints and triggers tendon sheath cysts. If the size of the cysts is large, it will produce obvious compression of the surrounding tissues, causing localized acidity and swelling, which leads to pain in the palm of the hand when pressed. 4. Carpal tunnel syndrome: a common peripheral nerve compression disorder, due to the increased pressure in the carpal tunnel, resulting in the median nerve compression caused by the palm of the hand will appear localized pain when pressed. Palm pressure pain can also be caused by other reasons, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to avoid delaying the condition.
