Severe hypotension and shock may affect the coronary blood flow, the coronary blood supply to the heart muscle is reduced, leading to the emergence of heart failure. Heart failure has its own characteristic signs and symptoms. Left heart failure may present with varying degrees of dyspnea, cough, sputum, hemoptysis, and wet rales audible in the lungs due to stagnation of the pulmonary circulation and decreased cardiac output. Right heart failure presents with gastrointestinal symptoms and exertional dyspnea due to stasis in the circulation, showing signs such as edema, jugular vein sign, and hepatomegaly. The early stage of heart failure, i.e., the stage of pre-heart failure or the stage of preclinical heart failure, usually does not show the symptoms of heart failure and the corresponding signs, and when heart failure occurs, it is necessary to actively consult the doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions for reasonable treatment.
