Symptoms of Infectious Arthritis

Symptoms of infectious arthritis are divided into two categories: systemic symptoms and local symptoms. Systemic symptoms are symptoms manifested by the whole body caused by the infection, and there is generally fever, which varies according to the different pathogens of viral and bacterial infections, septic infections generally cause high fever, and most of the tuberculosis infections are low fever in the afternoon. Systemic symptoms also include generalized muscle aches and pains, mental depression, and local symptoms such as localized pain and swelling in the joints. Some pathogens cause joint infections that result in redness and swelling of the joints, and joint infections caused by tuberculosis bacteria result in cold abscesses.
