To regulate the spleen and stomach, it can be decocted and taken as a decoction or powdered.
It belongs to the bladder meridian, small intestine meridian, stomach meridian and spleen meridian, and has the effects of strengthening the stomach and eliminating food, stopping astringency and astringent spermatozoa, clearing gonorrhea and dissolving stones. It can be used in treating abdominal distension and bowel movements caused by dietary stagnation, and poor appetite caused by spleen deficiency; relieving spermatorrhea and enuresis caused by kidney deficiency; and relieving dysuria caused by dampness-heat, which leads to dribbling and pain in the urine.
Caution should be taken to avoid the use of Jin Nei Jin in cases of spleen deficiency without accumulation and stagnation. The Pharmacopoeia has not documented any adverse reactions to Jin Nei Jin.
