  The hot summer days, young people in groups, eating cold drinks, blowing air conditioning, seems to become a permanent, unchanging theme of the hot summer. Ankylosing spondylitis is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease of unknown etiology that primarily affects the spine, with sacroiliac joint lesions being the most common. Ankylosing spondylitis is characterized by self-remission or exacerbation. Some patients do not receive timely diagnosis and treatment due to family and local medical conditions, and severe cases often develop spinal ankylosis and hip involvement within 3-5 years, making self-care difficult, so active treatment during the acute phase is important.
