In patients with hip labral repair, weight-bearing of the affected limb is usually prohibited for 2 weeks, after which rehabilitation is feasible. Gradually transition from non-weight-bearing training to weight-bearing training.
1. Weightless exercises such as quadriceps contraction exercises, straight leg raising exercises, ankle pumps, etc. can be performed within 2 weeks after surgery. Passive hip flexion and extension, abduction and adduction, internal rotation and other exercises can be carried out, and gradually transitioned to active exercise.
2. 2 weeks after the operation, partial weight-bearing of the affected limb (i.e. with the help of crutches or walker, the toes of the affected limb will touch the ground when walking) can be started. Bung exercises and hip bridge exercises can be carried out to continuously exercise the local muscle strength.
3. 1 month after the operation, the patient can walk with full weight bearing, and gradually carry out the above exercises until full recovery.
It is recommended that patients carry out rehabilitation exercises under the guidance of a doctor, so as not to cause adverse consequences due to improper operation of self-exercise.
