Difference between methylcobalamin tablets and methylcobalamin dispersible tablets

Methylcobalamin Dispersible Tablets are an alternative manufacturing process for Methylcobalamin that allows it to be broken down and absorbed more quickly than Methylcobalamin Tablets. Mecobalamin tablets and methylcobalamin dispersible tablets have exactly the same active ingredients, with a slight difference in patient absorption efficiency. Mecobalamin Dispersible Tablets use a special manufacturing process that allows them to disintegrate quickly enough in contact with water and to be dissolved sufficiently to be absorbed by the patient more quickly and to reach the desired blood concentration more quickly. Some patients with swallowing difficulties may not be able to swallow the whole tablet directly, while methylcobalamin dispersible tablets only need to be put into water, it can be quickly dispersed into a solution, compared with ordinary tablets, dispersible tablets have the characteristics of easy to take, rapid disintegration, fast absorption and high bioavailability. It should be noted that taking methylcobalamin may cause adverse reactions such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. This class of drug is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergy to methylcobalamin or any of the excipients in the prescription. Methylcobalamin Tablets and Methylcobalamin Dispersible Tablets are basically the same, but due to the different manufacturing process, the price is slightly different, the patient can follow the doctor’s advice according to their own needs to choose the right drug.
