Can you eat ginseng in soup?

Ginseng in soup can be eaten, and should be consumed in moderation according to medical advice.
Ginseng belongs to the spleen, kidney, heart and lung meridians, and has the effects of tonifying the spleen and lungs, replenishing vital energy, restoring normal pulse, preventing and treating deficiency, generating fluids and nourishing blood, and calming the spirit and benefiting the intellect. Its sweetness and warmth nourish the deficiency, and it is the most important medicine for rescuing the danger.
In cases of vomiting, diarrhea, sweat, illness or loss of blood, chronic illness resulting in perspiration, weak qi, weak pulse, etc., a large amount of ginseng can be used to treat the critical condition, such as ginseng soup.
Ginseng is sweet in flavor and can replenish qi and generate blood. If there is deficiency of spleen qi and qi cannot generate blood, resulting in deficiency of qi and blood caused by prolonged illness and deficiency of qi and blood, ginseng can be paired with Angelica sinensis, Atractylodes macrocephala, and ripened diabetes mellitus, as in Eight Treasures Soup.
