Fangji dispels wind-dampness, relieves pain and induces diuresis; Astragalus benefits qi, strengthens the surface, induces diuresis and seeps dampness (promotes the flow of water to dispel dampness); Atractylodes macrocephala strengthens the spleen and dries dampness (strengthens the spleen to get rid of dampness); Glycyrrhiza glabra harmonizes the various medicines (harmonizes the properties of different medicinal herbs) and can benefit qi and strengthen the spleen (regulates qi of the spleen and stomach). The combination of these medicines is effective in dispelling wind and benefiting qi, strengthening the spleen and inducing diuresis.
