What are the steps of the endocervical exploration

The endocervical exploration procedure should start with the disinfection of the vulva, normally the labia minora first, then the labia majora on both sides and the transverse vulva, then the inner thighs and finally the anus. After disinfection, the vagina needs to be dilated with a dilator to expose the cervix of the uterus, some disinfection of the vagina can be performed, which can be done clockwise, and then further disinfection of the cervix is needed, especially of the external cervical opening, which can be done with the commonly used iodophor, and then the internal opening can be probed, which is completed at this point.
