What western medicine is good for lung nodules

Most of the benign lung nodules do not require medication and only some infected nodules are taken according to the condition. Lung nodules can be divided into inflammatory lung nodules, tuberculosis nodules, tumor nodules in the lungs, etc. They can be treated by taking antibiotic drugs, antiviral drugs, anti-tuberculosis drugs, tumor resection and so on. 1. Inflammatory lung nodules: antibiotic drugs such as moxifloxacin, levofloxacin and cephalosporin are needed in case of inflammatory lung nodules caused by bacterial infection. Inflammatory lung nodules caused by viral infections are treated with antiviral drugs such as oseltamivir and ribavirin. Fever may occur during the period, and should be treated promptly to relieve the fever. 2. Tuberculosis nodule: Tuberculosis nodule is the characteristic manifestation of tuberculosis, usually there is caseous necrosis in the center of the nodule, and fibrous connective tissue surrounding the outside. Anti-tuberculosis drugs such as isoniazid, rifampicin, streptomycin and ethambutol can be used. After taking the drugs, adverse reactions such as neuritis, liver function damage, optic neuritis and arthritis may occur, so it is not recommended for people suffering from liver function damage, gout and visual impairment. 3. Tumor nodules in the lungs: simply taking medicine is no longer useful, due to the uncontrolled growth of tumor cells, the tumor nodules need to be removed. If the tumor is malignant, attention should be paid to radiotherapy as well as chemotherapy and other treatments after the operation. When lung nodules appear, you should go to the hospital in time to check the cause of the disease, and use medication as well as surgical treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
