For the prevention and treatment of bronchial asthma, TCM emphasizes treating the symptoms – Qi, phlegm and stasis – in an urgent manner, and treating the root cause – spleen deficiency – in a slow manner, so as to consolidate the therapeutic effect. For the treatment of asthma exacerbation, we believe that although phlegm and phlegm are the long-standing root of the disease, they are not the only pathological factors. During the onset of asthma, three pathological factors, namely phlegm and phlegm, qi stagnation and blood stasis, interact with each other, and symptoms of phlegm and qi obstruction, such as phlegm in the throat, shortness of breath, and even bruising of the face, lips and limbs, are common in clinical practice. If the Qi is smooth, the phlegm will be eliminated, and if the Qi moves, the blood will flow smoothly. Self-designed Ping Cang Tang is used to promote qi and eliminate phlegm, and resolve stasis to calm asthma. 2.Treat the root of asthma by slowing down – spleen deficiency is the first. The normal operation of fluids is related to the three organs of the spleen, lungs and kidneys. If the three organs fail to function properly, they can cause the fluid to accumulate and become phlegm and drink. Among the three organs, the spleen is the first to lose its function. If the spleen is deficient in transportation, the upper can not transport essence to nourish the lungs, water and grain are not transformed from the right, but phlegm and drink in the lungs; the lower can not help the kidneys to control water, warming is not possible, phlegm and drink for a long time, but hurt the kidneys and cough and asthma. Therefore, the first remission of asthma is often seen in people with weak spleen. Clinical symptoms of spleen deficiency are common, such as more phlegm, less food, weakness, shortness of breath, light tongue with thin and greasy coating, and thin and soft pulse. Treatment should be given to support the spleen first, and those who also see lung and kidney deficiency should be prevented and taken care of.
