Sudden shoulder pain and inability to lift the hand are common in the following cases: a. Frozen shoulder, due to inflammation around the shoulder joint causing severe pain when the shoulder joint is active, which affects the lifting function of the arm and causes the corresponding symptoms. II. Acute injury or chronic strain around the shoulder joint and local inflammation, which can lead to shoulder joint pain and inability to lift the upper limb during acute attack or aggravation. C. Acute aggravation of cervical spondylosis, due to herniated cervical discs compressing the nerve roots of the upper limbs, under the influence of cold, acute injury or other unfavorable factors, leads to aggravation of cervical spondylosis symptoms, resulting in sudden and severe pain in the shoulder joint and inability to lift the upper limbs. Fourth, older patients, especially those with combined more severe osteoporosis, can develop pathological fractures around the shoulder joint due to minor external forces, which can produce severe pain as well as dysfunction of the upper limb. Any occurrence of this condition marks a more serious abnormality, and patients are advised to seek medical attention in a timely manner.
