The effects of CT on the body refer to radiation to the human body. Receiving high doses of CT radiation multiple times in a short period of time can destroy the body’s white blood cells and lead to decreased immune function or other types of blood system disorders. The parts of the body that are more sensitive to radiation are the gonads and the thyroid gland. Excessive exposure to the gonads can easily lead to infertility in patients, and excessive exposure to the thyroid gland increases the risk of thyroid disease. If you don’t use CT without authorization and follow the doctor’s instructions, there is no harm. The radiation is much lower than the national safety value, and there is no problem as long as the CT exposure does not exceed 2-3 times a year.
