How to determine anastomotic circumcision failure

There are following ways to determine the failure of anastomotic circumcision, such as the glans cannot be exposed, there is an abnormality in the circumcision, erection limitation or penile recumbency.
1. The glans cannot be exposed normally, if there are adhesions on the head of the foreskin or if the circumcision is too short it will affect the glans’ exposure.
2. If there is obvious infection, hematoma, edema, etc. in the circumcision incision, it proves that the anastomotic circumcision has failed, but this symptom can be cured by changing the medicine and antimicrobial treatment.
3. A small percentage of patients who undergo the surgery may have limited erection or penile recurvature due to too much abdominal circumcision, which needs to be treated again by circumcision reconstruction surgery.
Circumcision should be performed in a regular hospital as much as possible, and any discomfort or complication after the surgery should be treated promptly to avoid delay.
