The incidence rate of gastrointestinal cancer in China is rising continuously, and the survival rate of early stage gastrointestinal cancer is much higher than late stage, and the gold standard of gastrointestinal cancer diagnosis relies on gastroscopy, so it is necessary to enhance public awareness of gastroscopy. The role of gastroscopy is to check the health condition of gastrointestinal tract, to remove the diseased tissues in time and to perform pathological biopsy when necessary. One, in recent years, China’s medical technology has made great progress, but there is still a large difference between urban and rural areas, and the basic conditions of individual local and county hospitals are poor, coupled with the fact that medical talents tend to go to big cities and hospitals, and there is a serious lack of medical and technical talents in small cities. The quality and results of gastroscopy reports vary from one level of hospital to another, and although few, they do exist. This is the current medical situation in China that cannot be ignored. Second, gastroscopy tests the proficiency of medical technicians, and experienced physicians are quite sensitive to lesions in the gastrointestinal tract, while inexperienced physicians may overlook lesions during the operation, so there are sometimes individual differences in the examination reports of the same level of hospital. Third, the results of gastroscopy reports are not only related to hospitals and doctors, but also inseparable from the degree of cooperation of patients. Patients should try to vomit as little as possible during the gastroscopy, and their stomachs should not stretch, so that they can cooperate with the physician’s operation of entering and exiting the mirror, so that there will not be much difference in the examination report; in addition, if patients can prepare their intestines well before the colonoscopy and ensure the cleanliness of their intestines, it will be beneficial to the physician’s observation during the examination.
