Gallbladder stones 1.6 cm * 1.2 cm can be observed and followed up, or surgery can be considered. Gallbladder stones are a common clinical biliary tract disease, and most patients have no obvious symptoms. Surgery is not recommended for asymptomatic gallbladder stones, and regular observation is sufficient. If the stone is embedded in the cystic duct and causes biliary colic or recurrent infections, surgery should be considered to remove the gallbladder, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy is recommended. Surgery should also be considered when asymptomatic gallbladder stones are combined with the following conditions: increasing number of stones with a diameter of >2 cm; combined with calcification of the gallbladder or porcelain gallbladder; accompanied by gallbladder polyps with a diameter of >1 cm; combined with a thickening of the wall of the gallbladder >3 mm. If gallbladder stones of 1.6cm*1.2cm are found, it is recommended that the patient go to the hospital as soon as possible and ask a professional doctor to evaluate the condition and decide on a specific treatment plan.
