Dobasic Acid Tablets are used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, symptomatic Parkinson’s syndrome (post encephalitis, atherosclerotic or toxic), but not drug-induced Parkinson’s syndrome. Adverse reactions such as anemia and thrombocytopenia may occur after administration. Dobasic hydrazide is a combination of levodopa and benserazide. The drug has the effect of generating dopamine to improve nerve function. The drug is commonly used clinically to treat Parkinson’s disease, and symptomatic Parkinson’s syndrome due to encephalitis and other diseases. Adverse reactions such as anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, anorexia, anxiety, insomnia, loss of taste, cardiac arrhythmia, upright hypotension, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur with the use of this drug. In the presence of these adverse reactions, it is recommended to temporarily discontinue the use of the drug and seek medical attention, and in the case of severe symptoms, the drug should be permanently discontinued. The use of the drug is prohibited for those who are allergic to the drug, taking non-selective monoamine oxidase inhibiting drugs, endocrine disorders in the period of decompensation, severe hepatic, renal or cardiac impairment, severe psychiatric disorders, angle-closure glaucoma, people under 25 years of age, pregnancy and other conditions. Dobasic hydrazide tablets need to be used under the supervision of a clinician.
